Guest Instructor – Weston Krukow
Weston Krukow is a California Native, and has spent the last four months on tour with "An American In Paris" as a Swing enjoying the National Touring teaching lifestyle. Most recently he taught for Cleveland's Broadway Summer Camp where he was deeply inspired from the talent and passion of Ohio. Before "An American in Paris", Weston was a ballet dancer in San Francisco with Smuin American Contemporary Ballet where he taught local studios (Tiffany's Dance Studios) around the east bay and San Francisco City Ballet's Summer Intensive. He has also taught along California's coast in San Luis Obispo (American Dance), and his teaching has since expanded to the Chicago area (Hyde Park School of Dance), and Iowa (Private Collections Summer Intensive 2011-2016). His teaching style ranges from Ballet to Jazz, Improvisation, Musical Theater, and Partnering Techniques. His drive in the studio is to bring joy to his students through his love for the arts and performance. Class begins with a quick warm-up involving body awareness techniques and exercises that flow into a strong class structure of physical and demanding movement and emotion.
